Our Story

Established in 2020

We use all metal materials and designs that remind Aussies of our great land. The silhouettes are laser cut from flat colourbond steel and riveted onto a corrugated iron background, which is finished with a zinc steel frame.

The idea for these products came about during the COVID-19 lockdown in April 2020.  The local ANZAC dawn services were cancelled and the only way to pay our respects was to host a service with our neighbours. I decided to create a larger than life silhouette of an ANZAC soldier, which cut out and fixed to a corrugated background (which was covered in a news feature).  I decided to go with smaller framed images which can be placed anywhere in the backyard or home. This was the start of Our Sunburnt Country.
